Hamm Lynn, Street Piper
Street Piper
Hamm Lynn
Hamm performs all of Street
Piper on sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor, and bass
recorders. Born John Garvey in Lawrence, Mass.,
during the Truman Administration, and turning into a Jack of
many trades over the years to make possible his life as a Busker
(i.e. street-performer) in Newburyport and Salem, Mass., and
Portsmouth, N.H., he assumed the "character name" when he joined
King Richard's Renaissance Faire in 1999, though most everyone
there calls him Toot!, always pronounced with the !
Street People
TG "Tom" Febonio
A resident of Rockport, Mass., Tom is a veteran Classical
and Celtic musician and, when the spirit moves him, a versatile
composer of both solo and chamber music. Five of his songs
appear here, and three appeared late last year ('02) on Two Hot
Dates, the debut CD of...
Full Cold Moon
An eclectic acoustic trio based in Peterborough, N.H., they play
several more Febonio tunes in concert, which are sure to appear on
future CDs. For more info on that, try
keysofmb@localnet.com and be sure to ask when Hamm Lynn will be
sitting in. The example and inspiration of Two Hot
Dates, as well as the late-night advice of two Moonies--although
fraught with next morning's wrath of grapes--has done much to
make Street Piper possible.
Roger Ebacher
As much of a coach as a sound-technician for this project,
Roger draws on his diverse experience as a musician, band
leader, and composer to augment his expertise as a producer and a
recording engineer. He thanks Hamm Lynn for staying off the
streets long enough to complete Street Piper.
